Looks great, doesn't add much weight to my already heavy 15" MBP. Was tough to align for a straight fit, be careful - once it's on that's it. I don't think there's any way you could remove this without cracking the wood, so re-applying isn't an option.
I have only had it for a couple weeks, so I can't speak to the long term durability. If you are removing this from a backpack or sleeve multiple times a day, the edges may catch on things. So far, no warping from the wood. All the sides and edges seem to still be sticking to surface.
Aesthetically, it looks great. I got the bamboo, no surprises in how it looks - not exactly the same as the picture but pretty close. When your screen is on, the light from the apple logo still shines through the cover. I was disappointed at first, but it looks cool now that I'm used to it. If you really wanted to black out the logo, you could probably apply gaffer's tape or something before applying the wood.
Overall great buy. Recommend.
